Alexander Yousif is a senior at UNC Chapel Hill, passionate about healthcare and dedicated to making a positive impact in mental health and substance use disorder settings. Alongside his studies, Alexander finds joy in saltwater fishing and camping, embracing the tranquility of nature whenever he can.
My Story
Alexander Yousif, a Business Development Consultant specializing in health informatics, focuses on advancing healthcare through technology and relationship-building. Aspiring to pursue an MBA and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, he aims to merge business and psychological insights to improve patient care. Raised Oakland County, MI until 15, Alexander then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina as a teenager and attended Myers Park High School.​

With a B.S. in Information Science and a minor in Data Science (UNC-Chapel Hill, Spring 2025), Alexander’s entrepreneurial efforts include founding Transformations Health Services (2023), serving 700+ people, and Chapel Hill Advisory Group, which expands healthcare access. In 2024, he founded Beacon Bridge to address behavioral health and substance use needs in North Carolina. As a first-generation Chaldean Catholic Iraqi, his journey reflects resilience and a passion for advancing healthcare accessibility.
